FOCUS ON A CHAPTER

A typical week consists 2 academic courses, combined with learning expeditions. The role of the professor is to brief participants with academic concepts and cutting-edge research prior to site visit or leader interviews to better frame and contextualize visits.

For the learning expeditions, the programme targets three classes of companies and actors:

In their industry: Saint-Gobain (building materials), IBM (technology), L’Oreal (beauty), Kempinski (hotels), Orange (telecom), VW (automotive), Bayer (pharmaceuticals),

Companies emblematic of the established new order of business

Alibaba, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter. These company visits are combined with other visits to distinctive landmarks that have significantly shaped the local economy, the port of Shanghai, the vineyards of Cape Town, the Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, to take several examples.

Leading local companies

Severstal in Russia, Casas Bahia in Brazil, Standard Bank in South Africa and promising emerging business (startups, local high growth companies).

EXCLUSIVE VISITS TO WORLD-CLASS COMPANIES

LEARNING EXPEDITIONS ARE ESSENTIAL TO BUILDING PARTICIPANTS’ ECOSYSTEM.

From start-ups to multinationals, the goal is to understand how to interact with the new world of alliances, partnerships, intrapreneurs & entrepreneurs, accelerators, labs, incubators.  By meeting with these actors each week, participants will observe and experience different ways of working, thinking and acting.
